Andrew Beirne 78 Posted January 4, 2015 Report Share Posted January 4, 2015 Well yesterday me and the man I go out with after the foxes with the lurchers and terriers said he'd take me out shooting now this man has been hunting since he was 15 and breeding his own English setters for nearly fifteen years. And what a day i had il tell ye straight up i missed every shot that I took but i'll get there. we had a 4 year old dog out and his daughter who is only 13 months and only learning her trade It was brilliant to see the dogs hunting and the range they have is fantastic but one blow on the whistle and their back and a simple "come in" and their walking to heel. We did apile of walking out for five and a half hours and it waas the first proper days hunting for my new lowa extreme evo hunter boots and I can only say they were brilliant feet were warm and bone dry all day after walking through bogs. 3 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
