Romeo Pup Now 5 Moth Old

dodger go and get that pup back,and give it the chance it deserves, if it was me i wouldnt hesitate, no need for neglect really gets my back up.

Lets hope the breeder steps up to the mark

It's not always as simple as that mate Iv got 3 dogs here and for me that's dogged up plus there's no room at the inn for one more in any case, that's one of the risky things when you breed findin the right homes n what puts me off doin it again, I put everything into the dam n pups so did my part the best I could, then you just hope the pups will get looked after once they've gone to there new homes then it's a case of gettin back to normal n puttin everything into your own...if I had the kennel space n somebody wanted to return a pup they'd had off me then I wouldn't hesitate..

I hope the guy looks at his pups litter mates just to see how it should be done , fit,healthy ,well fed and socialised pups.

The more I look at the pic the more I hope he returns the pup and walks away

Yep I agree buddy..like I said bad light and poxy phone cameras can make good look bad and vice versa lol..great in good light and if the dog is standing still..anything else other than that and its gonna be pretty much pot luck what the pic turns out like

johnny , dodger very nearly didnt go through with the the mating , mostly due to the hastle of finding proper homes for any pups . his bitch has served him superbly for a full 5 working seasons . some well respected dog men have seen her have wars and win . hes as entitled to keep his line going as is anyone , but let me assure everyone , dodger will be very concerned if this is not just a bad pic . its easy for us all to say do this or that . at end of the day , whether gifted or sold . once they are away you lose your say . really hope this is a bid pic

Well said bendrover I'm sure we would all want the perfect homes and I remember speaking to Dodger and that was his main concern finding good working homes.You can give all the conditions you want but once they leave you can only hope they are looked after and given a fair chance.

These big pups with a lot of bone can grow at an alarming rate,,,that's why they need the best of grub,,,in fact if feeding dry,,or part of the diet dry,,,then it's my belief ,,you need the large breed type feeds,,,rember these dogs that make 27,,, there bones are out growing there muscles,,,that's why some large breeds can have week pasterns ,,,,look at Alsatians there notorious for it......

 

Of course mushrooms young dog is so nice because of it's foster dad...........

Not the best of pics as taken on phone n it says file to big on the better ones but she's comin on real well into everything retrieving well good with sheep great recall good fun, only snag with her is she always chews her bedding n drags it into the run she's a bugger but she's just full of energy all the time n other than that I can't fault her so what do ya do lol ; )

A one off pic doesn’t tell a lot. My missus took a video of our current pup at around 10 weeks and was going to put it on facebook! I said don’t as it had just been fed and the meal pushing out the ribcage in comparison to the narrow back made it look bloody awful. I said she’d get lots of stuff about it being starved etc. To make it worse the little fella was chewing on a leaf at the time lol. So one pic means nothing other than the fella would do well to be a little more careful what he posts. I’d agree that bigger pups or even little uns like mine probably don’t need the amount of protein that’s supplied by puppy completes. The larger breed ones are lower protein so are perhaps a better bet although I just use an ordinary adult complete at around 24% protein with the addition of meat and bones with plenty of table scraps.
