kieron1980 17
Just bought a gun cabinet the plan is to put it in a wardrobe. I have took the back off the wardrobe and removed the skirt would i have to take out some of the bottom of the wardrobe or can i just sit the cabinet on the bottom and then fixed to the wall or does it need a solid base thanks kieron 1 Quote Link to post

kingnewport 19
Think it carnt be a certain height in case some one put a jack under it. Not sure tho , might of dreamt it haha Quote Link to post
PLEDGEY 493
Drill some extra holes in the back of the cabinet. Then when it's fixed to the wall it won't come off even if someone does try and put a jack under it. All it would do is dent the bottom. I've got a total of 10 sleeve anchours in the back of mine and 4 pieces of threaded bar chemically fixed to the floor, it ain't goin' no where!. One tip, when you drill your holes in the wall to fix it, go right the way through in to the cavity. If you ever have to move the cabinet you can then just push the sleeve anchours/bolts in to the cavity rather than trying to cut them off once the nuts have been removed. 1 Quote Link to post
