As a young lad my dad was a member of shoot syndicate we where ratting a small stream that ran through the shoot that had a load of feeders around it . My dad gave me the stick and as a big rat bolted down stream running towards me ,three or four grown men jumped In the water trying to stamp and whack this rat . As it ran ran up the bank in front of me I hadn't moved an inch and whack I hit it with the point pinning it to the bank .
