Pup's Diet - Bones??

Recommended Posts

Hey, Just a quick question.

Pups age = 8 weeks, current/starting diet is raw meet and dams milk

I am carrying on with raw minced meats, brown bread, quail eggs and veg scraps. (no complete food)

When do I start giving bones?

Do I mince chicken wings and whole quail to start with or should I feed them whole??

Cheers

Just make sure they're RAW bones...

NEVER give a dog cooked bones as that's when they splinter and cause problems ;)

Just to add they only splinter when they are baked in the oven ... Boiled is fine ........

I'm always reading and learning on this forum, I didn't realise boiled bones were ok and wouldn't splinter...

My whippet always gets them raw anyways :)

Cheers Socks ;)
