17 Hmr At 100 Yards

Recommended Posts

I think the crux of the matter is having a barrel that is " true and smooth". My first hmr refused to shoot back to point of aim after a thorough clean. I even went through the shoot one clean one regime to run it in. In the end I settled on just a mild patching between outings and the rifle shot to point of aim from round one.

My current hmr shoots to point of aim whether clean or dirty. Which is good because I like clean barrels and the landowner likes the rabbits to be shot.
