Duck Traps

Anyone got a design for a duck trap, that works.

Village I used to live in had a proper duck decoy,,,in fact the wood the pond was in ,,,was called decoy ho,,,

 

Interesting how they used to catch the ducks,,by going down the narrow Chanel's ,,then ultimately in to big nets,,,all done with a little red coloured dog.....

 

Here you go,,,,lot of work mind,,,first dig your pointy pond,,,lol

Yes seen those before, I need something small scale cage like and portable.

Used too know of one when I was younger can't show you a design but it was basically a square chicken pen next too the water with a small pen built onto the water with a funnel at water lever and some tame ducks in the chicken pen with some feed in the trap used too catch the odd duck

I've used a small funnelled pheasant type cage trap with pigeon Bob wires on so they couldn't find there way out
