How much do you kids pay for rimmy subs?. I can own 600 and buy 500 so i waited till i had less than a hundred and went to my local gunsmiths who charged me £30 for 500 eley subs . I had a moan and a whinge but coughed up anyway as otherwise it would have been a 20 mile drive into a local city and £3 to park to my next gunsmith. I was talking to a friend who said i should have paid £25 tops and he can get them for £15 at a farmers store.

I normaly buy Winchester, but round our way there is a shortage of them, so I bought some Magtec ,just as good as Winchester and cost £20 for 500

Tell you what mate, if your mate can get eley subs at £15 per 500, tell him to ring south yorkshire shooting supplies up, and we will take 1 million off him. We cant buy them at that price, trade, nowhere near it.

I cant remember the exact price, retail, but its got to be in the £50- £60 mark per thousand.....dont forget, anything with metal in it, has gone through the roof, and eley have always been the dearest anyway. If you want a good, cheap, subsonic, try the remmy ,at around £32 a 1000.

Eley sub's are £65 per 1000 down our way also I found them Magtech's inaccurate myself.

Can't remember how much the eley are local, but I use winchester there £35 for 500...I think the last time I bought eley I paid £20 pound or there abouts for 300..

Paulus,is that Ibstock Liecestershire? That seems a very good price to me. I was told £3 a box or £30 ish for 500 Eley last week at our local gunshop.

I am hopefully going to get a .22 rifle soon,when my license turns up.My shotgun ticket is expiring,and I have applied for a coterminous licence,so I can have a rifle and a shotgun. At that price,it would be economical to nip to Ibstock.

Down here we generally pay a little more for everything, i only use eley extras for both my rimmys, generally pay around £55-£58 per 1000.
