nod 285
Haven't tried that one but do like the vertox gel Quote Link to post
goshawking719 492
Really rate the stuff. Have used it to great effect on a few difficult house mouse jobs. Be sure not to get the summer and winter formulations mixed up! The summer stuff literally turns to concrete in the tube when the temperature drops! Quote Link to post
abarrett 462
Have a go with storm Never fails Problem I found with the tube bait is In the winter it's rock hard In the summer it melts the bits in it collects in the end and blocks up Storm is a cracking bait in block form Quote Link to post
goshawking719 492
Also a big fan of storm blocks but the one thing here in favour of d-wax is the moisture content. I recently did a job in a fairly modern pig unit, all concrete panels rather than block work. The only place for the mice to live was the small cavity between the panels and plastic feed hopper. They were basically living in the pig feed that blew over in to the cavity. The feed being a very dry powdery meal, the only reason they had to leave this spot I imagine would of been to drink. You could watch them coming up and eating the d-wax pretty much as soon as it hit the floor! 1 Quote Link to post
Matt 160
Killgerm used to do 'Winter' and 'Summer' versions of Sakarat D. Very palatable, and at one time, the only bait the London and Brummie mice would take Quote Link to post
