couple more of ours     first pic sire and dam in middle with 2 pups either side second pic mother middle pups either side

fell/russell/beagle/bull... . are some folk trying to reinvent the wheel.

The fawn is super fast but doesn't have the turning ability of the black bitch, will be better when she returns from having a pup.

How goes it bryanm, cracking pics those.... pleased to read your fawn bitch is making a quick recovery hopefully she will be back on her feet sooner rather than later also is your black bitch in pup if so what did you put her to. atb daywalker.

That is a real lovely dog you have, you can see the whippet in her and i bet in time she will probably be able to pick up rabbits that run from cover to cover. atb fella.

 

Thank you. I'm very pleased with her. She's a nippy little thing and I think you're right about her picking up the occasional one in the open, though I think luck will play a big part - being in the right place at the right time and all that....

Another coursing bred whippet, but due to the fawns injury she absorbs most of the litter and had a singleton pup, which is ok as I only wanted one.

When we had her scanned she had nine pups then the fawn had its injury and the vet thinks as they are close she absorbed most of the litter.
