Drebz87 39 Posted March 19, 2014 Report Share Posted March 19, 2014 I thought the episode was in poor taste, some things deserve better than to have the piss taken out of them, an episode of terrible suffering and cruelty being one such. Perhaps I'm a little older and have the memories of my granparents talking about my uncle and how he suffered an died building a railway........ I can understand that but at least younger viewers who dont read history or watch old films will maybe take a interest and educate themselves on it, having never heard of historic events like that? I went to the river Kwai and to the prisoner of war camp museum, then onto the cemetry, 15 or so years ago, it was very thought provoking to say the least.
