We raised £1000 profit for the hunt yesterday and it's an all time record! This is the second time we have organised the show (me and fox buster) and hopefully won't be the last. Hope most of you enjoyed it and thanks for the support.

Missed the show this year, boring work commitments, when I bought a burger,or 3,last year none of them were served,or cooked,on the floor, the tables and cooking area was in a barn,as is oft the case with these shows, the set up was spot on,the people serving and the tables etc.,also spot on.When I go to a show in a field I don,t expect or wish to see silver service or bibbed waitresses.Shows like this are a revenue stream for the hunt, the hunt therefore is not going to go out of its way to piss off the punters, well most of them.I cannot remember the last show I attended when I was completely satisfied with the judging, thats shows and the nature of the showee,s,the only ones who don,t usually complain are the ones with the ribbons,at times.A warm sunny day and the crowd will oft imbibe with a beer or two, some of them seek a little more recreational purpose and puff along accordingly, thus is life.If life and what it proffers is to much for the more sensitive soul, don,t then attend a situation that may bring you into conflict with it.Whatever money is raised on these occasions goes to a genuine cause, dig deep and enjoy, until next year, hoping to be there.

Was my first show, Had my youngest lad with me and two pups. I don't know enough to comment on judging. We had a good afternoon, seen some good dogs and met some friendly folk who chatted to us about terriers. Glad you raised a few quid for your hunt and we will see you next year.
