NEWKID 29,246
That's some height mate.... Remember when we were first erecting steel, no cherry pickers etc, just walking the rafter backs... f**k that now.... Done an old barn erected and clad about 40ft to the ridge, no scaffold, nets anything... All steel and cladding walked up the rafters, nearly 20 years ago now ... NEWKID 29,246
Fell twice, luckily not from great heights and I landed ok, just a bit of bruising nothing more... One was straight off a roof, bounced on the scaffold right through the handrail, or where the hand rail was prior to me moving it to load the roof lol... Brother looks down at me on my ass..." You alright Kev "... " yeah, I think so" I say.... He falls about pissing himself then... The twat.. Another we were up in Watford putting huge floor beams in with a crane, I was up a ladder, trying to get the end of a beam in... It was late afternoon on a Sunday, everyone pissed off and wanting to go home.. This beam wouldn't go in, the crane driver kept lowering, and the chains were slack... Next thing this beam, must have been a ton or so in weight.. Just dropped, I shit myself and jumped off the ladder... I was luck where I landed, but that hurt a bit.. Lol
