gnasher16 30,063
im not going to be popular here, but i heard it on the news yesterday, about the lads being arrested for thier comments. imo that should never happen. regardless of what they said, and i have read really bad ones online.but seems these days people instead of ignoring it and moving on,will call cops or cops will monitor these sites for secterian and bigoted racist comments.really havent they got anything better to do. There was a time when i felt the same " its only the internet " and all that........but the longer time go,s the more i realise it might not be a bad idea if some people were held accountable for things they write..............ok its not important and if you really dont like it dont turn the switch on......but it makes you wonder how much more of a polite place the internet would be if folk thought they might actually have to explain the shit they write sometimes in the real world !! NEWKID 27,132
Half the little scroats who write shit like that are scared of their own shadow and wouldn't have the balls to voice an opinion in the real world, so if they've been pulled for it good IMO.... Whatever your views on colour, religion, immigration etc, it means little to me if your outlet is writing shit about a murdered 3 year old... I like reading and listening to other peoples views ( whether I agree or not) but I wouldn't want to be in the company of people who find it ok to slag off a dead 3 year old child... Scott, I suppose as social media is the outlet for most of the population now careful policing is important, although I don't entirely agree and free speech without the PC stranglehold should be encouraged.... But for me this over steps the mark..
scothunter 12,609
fair doos lads.just my humble opinion lol i think as big hairy arsed adults we can see those comments for what they are,and imo ignoring and not replying it soon dissapears, and a big dissapointment to the poster. anyway two lads one in derby and the other in berkshire will no doubt be regretting there wee tirade on the internet. The internet is far to vast and impossible to police properly.i dont suppose it would be a great feat to some computer greek,to post all the shocking comments he wanted and hide where he was.i dunno! me personally if something comes into my head and ist kinda in bad taste.methinks better not putting into print lol
