Bit Of Help Needed

My son is 9 he's been askin me for an air rifle I bought a 2.2 westlake air rifle for £10 of a lad who was havin a clear out guns not that bad but it will do for now just wondering what kind of cheap and cheerful scope anybody can recommend , I'm a lurcher man myself and don't know naf all about air rifles but my lad wants to do bit of target shooting in garden any help would be great thank you

If its just for garden plinking all he needs is a 4x32 scope or similar.

Check out the sales section on this forum and you will pick something up.

Or try the bay you will find a few on there.

You can buy a brand new nikko sterling one for £25.

Thanks for the reply mate he will get use to using it prob wanna go out n do bunnys with it but he's happy at the min so alls good

you can pik up cheap scopes on ebay ... maybe a 3-9x40...no need for ir( the crosshairs that light up) or AO (wchich will over complicate matters for him at his age. feel free tp pm me if you need ebay links etc. and good luck with the new young hunter ;-)

Do not let him out with this gun to hunt rabbits! They are not capable of it unless they have had a lot of work!

Heck they are not usually accurate unless they have had a lot of work!
