Did Anyone Get A Pup That Wasnt Looked After Properly?

I had Blu at what we got told was 12 weeks old but later on we found out he was only 8weeks, when we had him he had no fur from the top of his head town his spine to the base of his tail, he was that skinny he looked like he had never been fed, the owner (who we reported) didn't know the pups had been born until at lest 2weeks after.

The MRS made us take him home because se felt sorry for him, if we didn't take him he would have defiantly died.

Pictures of then and now.

Its great that things worked out.But i would never get a pup again because i felt sorry for it.

Mrs fault that was lol, but I'm glad we had him

Well i took a pup far to young, cost me a load at the vets and ended up pts.Like i said its great yours worked out fine. But by paying the scumbag that bred my pup,i helped the puppy peddlars.atb johnny
At least you tried tho pal, you could have easily left it to possibly die

Well done for taking it on and sorting it out but he should of had a good kicking for the way he's keeping dogs, around 1979 I once took a whippet off a lad I heard he was trying to sell, when I got t

Sadly, I could tell numerous horror stories of dogs and pups kept in appalling conditions: and people wonder why I don't like humans very much.

i took a freind to see some salX pups years ago, lovely house, nice garden and a smart kennel set up the bitch was in a 6x4 shed with the pups aparrently......so we walked down the garden and f**k me you could smell this shed form 15ft upwind! the poor wee b*****ds were black coverd in baked on scours all matted into their coats, they were thin but not cronic thin and to be honest the whole thing felt like he had had enught of them and just given up. my pall says "f**k me when were they cleaned out?!" the bloke said well this morning but they have spilled their water bowl..... i mean thease pups were paddleing in site.

so my mate not being shy says " igh pull the other one pall, if their not in a better state tomorrow ime takeing the f***ing lot!" i was only about 14 at the time and was shitting myself as i thought war was going to kick off!

the feller went nuts and told us to get the f**k out of his garden ect ect

in the end up my mate went back that night and took all the pups, and gave the guy a slap and from 4 pups 3 died of parvo,,,,2 of them with me as i took two on to build them back up.

Your dog looks well now mate, I took on a terrier pup that was unsocialised, nervous and generally a little s£&@! What they see as a pup can have a lasting efffect

Too right it took us I think it was about 2/3 months before he would come for a fuss you would have though he had been batter from birth if you saw how bad he was , but now we love him and the kids do too ha

Good on you for sorting the pup out and it looks well now. Just hope you didn't pay the idiot for the pup, as sadly if there's people buying these poorly raised pups, then you can bet there will be another litter on the way soon and so the sad cycle continues. Good luck with the pup atb.

My staffies x whippet was 2 weeks old when I got her.

Some druggie wanted money quick so said she was going to let the last two pups on the street if no one took them that day so I took both, a girl I knew took one off me and I took mine to the vets, they wouldn't book her needles in for a later date because they said she won't be alive by then. She turns 3 in a few weeks :)

The first terrier I ever owned was a Russell bitch I removed from her former owner after I found her living in an outbuilding she was basically living off the rats she caught in the building, her "owner" was not happy about this until I explained that I either removed her or his legs it was his choice.

I did almost identically the same thing circa 1983/4. Took a Russell dog from an allotment behind mine where the owner kept it to keep his pigeon loft rat free.

Poor little fella was left for days at a time, as were the birds, whilst the piss-can owner spent his giro on ale. I took the dog, euthanised squabs in the nest who the parent birds could not feed due to not getting fed themselves, fed & watered all the remaining birds.

The guy tried to get the dog backthrough a third party, but would not approach me direct cause he thought I might have given him a slap. He`s right, I would have.

Dog turned out a little cracker for me. Just a bit of ratting, but great fun!
