Curiouslp 3 Posted March 25, 2014 Report Share Posted March 25, 2014 can any one help me get my 1 year old .. collie greyhound to run the beam ? any suggestions Hiya like what was said above the dog certainly needs to be out more and with the help of watching an older dog on the lamp, it will create more determination when he/she has to watch the other dog chase but can't get out to it, a good windy night and if your lucky enough to walk up on a rabbit in the form with your young dog on the slip you'll be away on a hack, it just clicks with some dogs quicker, also try to make sure the dog is actually looking at the beam.moving the dogs head while the lamp goes around the field helps me at times just until they cop what's moving!! hope this little essay helps ha!!
