Awesome glass. I've been using them for years and its up there with Zeiss & Swaro. Unfortunately the cost has now caught up with the quality!

 

I would say however if its specifically for low light, then go for a 56mm. 42mm isn't the best for low light.

Went out last night with the Docter, for low light it's brilliant. For the range and stuff I'm doing it is brilliant quality.

 

Really snapped a bargain up here

You've got an absolute steal mate. Prices have recently rocketed on Docter optics.

 

I sold an 8x42 years ago for £450. & it had marks in the optics!
