Collar Battery Life.

How long do your batterys last in the mk3m collars? Theyre supposed to last 300 hours but mine aren't going near that. Not sure if that's because im buying shitty batteries off ebay though.

Cheers lads I do turn them off after use. I buy the rayovacs and was wondering if some ebay sellers are selling old stock.

Don't use cheap ones, they will let you down in the end, cold frosty days murder them, don't know about 300 hours, more like half that

Make sure you use silver oxide ones and not alkaline.

Yeah cheers they are the silver oxide ones. Ive found the problem seems to be with just the one of my collars. I put fresh batteries in turn it on to test it and then a couple of days later the batteries are dead even though its been turned off the entire time.

One seller on flee bay has rayovacs priced up at £999.99 I challenged them on the price and this is there reply :Thanks for your message

Unfortunately we have experienced a quality issue with this item.

We are working to rectify this, and when we have stock that we believe is fit for purpose, we will revert the item to its original selling price
