In Spain I used to have German Pointers and the hunting we were doing it was for Red Partridge. For me there is nothing more exciting (talking about hunting) than a well-trained Pointer Dog pointing at the quarry, waiting for you for as long as it takes to get there and then waits for you to give the order for attack….. I have been privilege for about 8 years to have a permission with lots of rabbits, and very good pigeon shooting in the summer. We flush the odd pheasant or two when we are ferreting as there is a massive shoot next door. My question is, can I get this type of sport in the UK? I would very much appreciate any comments.
