I dont blame you mate, over here a cheapo mossberg pump action is worth very little, you cant really give them away, at least if it was a standard type of thing rather than some rambo thing that the swat team use, then it would be better, thats why I am saying he would be better saving a bit more, but if he can shoot it well, thats what matters.

It's not done up at all, bog standard nice wood work from what I saw, has the iron sights on it and that's it. Hopefully he can ask for a shoot with it

Ah ok I thought it was one ofb those daft black affairs with a pistol grip ect, with you saying it looked like a cop gun, ok well he should be ok with that then.

What's the big difference with barrel sizes mate (this is for me) 24", I expect it's a lot louder but does it affect accuracy for say pigeon shooting out a hide? seems quite small for pigeon etc, I'm sure my single barrel is 30" or maybe a bit less?

See if you can find a Berretta A303, I have one I bought about 10 years ago, I don't use a semi for syndicate work but use my S/S & O/U for

game shooting 'in company' as the Semi would be 'unwelcome'.

But I have to admit its a peach to use, and has never once misfired in 1,000's of shots, and it's my first choice when 'nobody's watching'.
