That chief dog made a f***ing good run of that not Meny people would run that hare I think it's good to run a yong dog round them tight bits of land keeps them up and at them this time of the year a dog shouldn't give a hare any respect cos if he do that's when young dogs start to get dragged about atb with him mate

To think that was probably the 15th rabbit chief has seen. Plus its middle of winter in a pretty tight field on the black stuff. The vid doesn't show it but he went on to kill that rabbit and another on much bigger land after a 5 minute course. Privilege to watch a pup run with so much potential

Yea I'm happy with Oscar. Doing well considering he ain't really bred for it and its his first season. Still could of done better in December tho missed a lot. Does everything except catch them since it got cold. Hopefully stop a couple this weekend though

His dam is coursing bred, merlin eve stuff but the sire is deer grey x collie grey with some bull. I'm sure its not the dams side that's made him responsive to commands and a joy to own. Definitely get a more purpose bred coursing pup next time though after seeing the lungs on chief.
