Andrewevo6 7 Posted November 7, 2013 Report Share Posted November 7, 2013 Just been pulled over on the way back from picking my lamp up from my brothers, pulled into a lay-by and give it a few flicks over the fields then drove on down the road! (Stupid thing to do but I didn't see the harm at the time)...next thing iv got a landrover stuck to my arseend following me down the road then came the police lights round the corner, i just pulled over straight away, after explaining what happened and having a bit banter about where I have permission ect they realised I was up to no harm...I think the no dogs/guns accompanied by the shorts and purple jumper might have been an indication as well... Iv never had any problem getting permission with me working around farms all the time...get to know the land owner, offer your services in return...firewood always a winner! Anyway It's sad that people have ruined the trust with farmers by destroying gates, fences and not stock training their dogs, it cost me half an hour of my Life tonight lol, but I do feel sorry for the honest people who stick to the rules that can't get permission who are now treated like criminals for doing their hobby...so there's a heads up!
