I have four out of a litter of seven pups for sale one dog three bitches all black wih bit of white on some of them these are pedigree and kc reg sooty sam lord of the night and strike while the irons hot in the pedigree both parants owned and worked by myself i have no doubt these will make excellent working dogs dog £300 bitches £350 6 weeks old on the 5 november for more info email and i wiil forward my number

both work day night and with ferrets nothing stops the bitch she will go through any cover fence or bush

dog is three and bitch is 18 month old put the dog over my 3/4 grey 1/4 collie last year the pups are 12 month old now getting some real good reports back from them one guy has had over 400 rabbits with a bitch 29 in one night must be some rabbits around him

If the guy started at the beginning of Sept. with the dog at 10 months that would mean that, on average, he's taking 50 rabbits per week.

 

I think he's either putting one hell of a load of rabbits in front of the dog and it'll be knackered by the time it's 6 or telling porkies.

 

Not having a go mate but was this mating an accident? If not, what makes the bitch so worth mating with at 18 month old considering she's only had one season?

wasnt a accident she has been out working with the ferrets since she was six month old and she took to it straight away i was working the hedge row and she was sat in the middle of the feild once i had finished went over to see what she was doing she was marking a set with two rabbits in she has the best nose of all my dogs and prey drive on the lamp she is first to spot the only bad thing i can say about her is she carries to mutch weight this litter will sort that out then i will just keep my eye on her weight there is not many whippets you have to put on a diet three pups were orderd pre mating

no reason to doubt the guys word on numbers i think he said he started her in aurgust the mother to it was at over 300 at 18 month old she didnt start until 12 month there was alot of rabbits around me then she was catching 6 just on a walk

I can vouch for the quality of the sire and dam of these pups ( for what it's worth) as I have seen them work on many occasions.

 

Both dogs and seller are genuine, hence the reason one of these pups is coming up to Scotland.

no i didnt keep one in the end the land around me got wiped out last year with the bad weather and it still hasnt recoverd there is no were near the numbers that there was i have to take a few off to keep the land owners happy and spread the work load betwwen the three dogs that i have i would have loved to have kept one but most the lads and lases that had them keep in touch all made up with how they are coming along some alot more than others but all good reports quite a few lads are on the site its a great way to keep in touch with them
