I Need Help With Perfect Pie Pastry

I know this is probably in the wrong section but...

 

What is the best type pastry and method to make it??

 

I'm making a huge pie today for a few people and want to maybe try a different pastry method to normal.

I made 2 on Thursday scot,,,, one with chicken bacon,cream,,,and tarragon ,,, and the other a simple mince and onion,,here's a pic of some rabbit ones I made,,,, got a nice roe deer neck in the freeze

Just get on the net mate,, bbc good food site is ok for recipe's,,, you will find plenty for pastry,,, just decide what you want,,puff,,short crust ,, ect,,, personally I think short rust is best for

Oh forgot ,,, your in Spain feck knows if you can get it out there..,,,

 

I think I red somewhere ,, that the best pastry was made with equal amount of lard and butter,, rather than 1 or the other

Again it's Spain mate these feckers don't even know what gravy is let alone bloody lard lol they do have butter though lmao.

I bet it was,, but I didn't get a look in with them 3 greedy west Cumbrian lads,,,,look at them ,,like fecking vultures,, look at poor old Tara in the background ,,,didn't even get a crumb

I've already shown them Brits kick ass at food, the stuff I've made is simply put "what mam used to make" To us it's just simple food nothing extravagent, to them they've never tasted it before like fuucking roast parsnip ffs So I can't lose :laugh: :laugh:
