What Conditions Are Best For Growing Fern??

I wish I had seen this thread earlier , my Masters degree was in Horticulture , I would be happy to answer any questions members have .

Well in that case sod Stewie and his ferns :laugh: ,i have a bit of ground a customer wants turning into a flower meadow,i've strimmed down the long grass and rubbish that was growing there,what do i do next,rotorvate and rake out the old roots? as that's what i was planning on doing.

Probably find out the long grasses/rubbish were native plants .and you just destroyed a meadow planted years ago pmsl.
