Blacberry,s My Dogs Love Them

Recommended Posts

who else,s dogs like to eat blackberry,s, my two love em,

they pull them off the bush themselves now.

while out exercising them one morning i was pulling a couple off for myself

and you know what dogs are like sniffing and watching me, so i picked some soft sweet

berry,s from the top,, squeeze,d them so the juice was there, and they really love them.

Has any body else,s dog took a liking to them.

its also been a good crop of blackberry,s this year.

Yeh mate mine love em aswell n pick there own on walks, I'm not sure of the nutritional properties for em but there is defo alot of goodness in em n my bitch picks n eats loads n they don't seem to do her any harm, I guess foxes will do the same..maybe I should pick a load while there here n freeze them as a treat for the dogs.. Freeze them for a couple of weeks or boil them before giving them to the dogs or else the dogs could get the blackberry worm which can be deadly.

no need to go to all that trouble, but if you are that bothered about worms, just soak them in salted water for a while and IF there are any there, they will float to the surface, any dog i have had have always ate them while out and about, never had one die on me yet.
