Panacur For Poults

Recommended Posts

aye you can use it, it works for dogs and pups too

do you know if the dog liquid and sheep one is the same ?

Yes panacur is Fenbendazole , you can buy 1 ltr of panacur for cattle , sheep and horse for about £55-£60 . But the exact same medicine bottled for dogs costs about £20 for 100ml, that is some mark up !!!!! Panacur can be used for game birds but Flubenvet is better !!

Think you'd be better off using something like flubenvet for gapes.

Have used Panacur for worms, but I think it only treats intestinal worms, whereas gapes is in the throat/windpipe area.

im a bit confused as shovel leaner says its ok and linton lad says its no good for pheasant poults

Sheep and cattle panacur 10% is just fine for pheasants I have treated many thousand with it and never had a problem interestingly if selenium is a problem I best have words with my feed mill as all 50 tons ive used this year has had it listed on the product sheet
