Personally my favourite is a frost with the day glo orange bits on the handle, excellent grip, very sharp, easy to sharpen and best of all only £9, and you can get them for a fiver but the handle is not so grippy. Blade is just under four inches so easily takes the bung out of any dear, bloody brilliant value for money, and wont leave you crying if you lose one. :big_boss::toast:

imo you wont dress a deer neater by cutting around the bone, i always cut/push through with a heavy bladed knife using the palm of my hand as the preasure provider, obviously younger deer are much easier to do as there bones are alot softer...

are you a pefectionist or is your gamedealer a freak ??

If done right ,the aich cut is neat but seeing the carcasses at the dealers, all cut round the ass and very neat , and im determined to start doing this .Its just that ive bought a new knife and im wondering if its too wide in the blade .Its a buck sheath blade .Yes I am a bit of a perfectionist !
