Howa 1500 In 243

Iv decided to opt for a Howa instead of the Remington 770. Any of you guys use this rifle in 243? What do you think of it.

Hi I have on in 308 and its a great rifle well pleased with it, im still load developing but im getting there its half the fun of owning my rifle.

I have a Howa 1500 varmint barrel in 22-250 and as far as I am concerned it is excellent value for money. I adjusted the trigger myself and it holds inch groups no problem and has counted for a hundred plus foxes of the last few years.

I've just got one too, not yet fired a shot with my own but the trial one I fired was good

I have a Weatherby vanguard, (same rifle) in .243 and I love it with my handloads it will shoot a cloverleaf group @ 100 yards, and is pretty darn good with most factory ammo, brilliant value, good choice mate.

I've got the full kitted how's varmint 1500 243 buddy 1in 10 twist she love most bullets to I use the 70gr blitzkings homeload fantastic Norma 75gr work very well for a factory load as well a little heavy to say the least sticks and bipod work well the rubber stock is great but sticks to ya jacket lol you can't go wrong with the howa pal good choice

i use the Howa 1500 in 243 with a wildcat t8 mod, can,t fault it all is good well pleased with mine

ive a howa 1500 thumbhole in .243 shoots very accurate ,good grouping using 90 gr sako soft points

wildcat mod with mtc taipan 4x16x50 scopes a touch heavy but mainly shoot on top of the vehicle ,but shot a fox with nv on too

100yrds1" grouping to 200 yrds drops roughly 1.5 inches

hi, i bought mine as a complete set up but i would have thought a decent second hand mod would make at least £100 so not cheap but when you got them worth every penny, as regards getting a slot for one on your ticket is a big yes all the best (DARREN) topshot61
