No Tom i have had a couple of them over the year's..and what i do they don't stay sharp for two minute's...the blade also rust's and if they get wet or blood on the wooden handle it swell's up causing

Can't beat opinel in my opinion easy sharpened And cheap as hell paid about £6 for mine although do need a bit of care on the blade Have a look at Mora knives as well mate cheap and hard wearing A

As said before, don't forget the Mora carbon blade. Here's mine. Hardly looks used does it?

No Tom i have had a couple of them over the year's..and what i do they don't stay sharp for two minute's...the blade also rust's and if they get wet or blood on the wooden handle it swell's up causing them to be a nightmare to open..imo you are better of spending that bit extra on a good blade..as it will last you a life time aslong as you don't loose it.. :thumbs:

I had a one of them type's year's ago when i had a boat and boy can you get them sharp and they also stay lethal sharp forever.. :icon_eek: .. i could kick myself now as it was left with all the fishing gear when the boat was sold.. :cray:

Yes your right mate they can be a right pain

There only reason I had one is its cheap and I can abuse it like hell haha

If your looking for a real nice knive then I would recommend midnight knives real good quality also I have a helle falkniven and its spot on so personal choice and how much you want to spend mate ;)
