Great work there pal....

 

How did you manage to finish it? :thumbs:

sanded with 60 grit then straight to 180 grit until most of the scratches have gone, you should be able to see the colors start to look a bit brighter the I used a homemade polishing wheel out of denim jeans and toothpaste :thumbs: still takes ages tho... anyone tried using a blow torch to melt just the surface

Tried a blowtorch.... doesnt work too well....burns it a little...even when your careful....

 

Kind of like a 'rough' finish on them.... lets you keep good grip.... even when your hands are wet....

 

Adds to the 'scrapyard' look :whistling:
