Weight Problems

Hi all my ferret weighs 0.8 kg but has lost a load of weight she looks gaunt in the face went vets had her checked over and he says all fine just a small Jill but she was a lot fatter is this due to it being summer time I feed here on alpha and chicken atb

All mine are the same, ferret equivalents of Jessica Ennis, just a bit hormonal

how big are your ferrets ?? that's nearly the weight of a bag of sugar !!

 

its the breeding season bud all mine loose a little weight during the summer

Theres twelve adult ferrets here and no two look alike even sisters ,there like kids some are chunky ,some are solid some are for lack of a better word ropey but there all running about mental as long as her eyes arent dull her gums arent pink i wouldn't worry too much . Being a jill coming and going out of season can affect them
