Stop Dog Killing Cats

Better still lets stop Cats killing Birds/Song Birds

Make it compulsory for Cat owners to have to put a collar and bell on their pets .

If they dont have them a Fine or they are fair game to all and saundry.

I know what your saying, what i'm sure many aren't aware of is the fact certain people are currently trying to make an amendment to the current DDA which will make it an offence for YOUR dog to kill a cat on YOUR own property. Now I certainly don't want my dog to kill a cat in any situation but I find it incredulous that a neighbours cat can enter my garden, kill birds on my feeders, shit all over my borders and flower beds and now I have to scan the garden before letting my dogs out of property I paid for in case they tag a cat. Which may potentially land me and my dogs in trouble........

I called over to a neighbor last week and he had a dead cat tied onto his collies neck. I asked him why and he said the dog killed the cat and that tying the cat onto his neck would stop him killing them. I thought that this was another one of his retarded ideas but I was back over there this morning and he had two kittens and the collie was scared shitless of them.

I just thought I'd share this in case anyone else wants to stop an older dog killing cats.

I thought all the young uns had packed in with the glue sniffing,a Collie with a dead moggie tied to its collar, pass me a bag and some super strength sticky stuff,i need some of these hallucinations to get me through the dreariness of another working day.

I'm far from a cat lover but thats not going to work......dog kills cat with collar on, throw collar away............ Now youve just got dogs going about killing cats all over the place. But a compulsary bell is a good idea for warning garden birds. Maybe educating folk on where to feed birds in the garden away from bushes and stuff would help also......
