But would you then complain if someone's crucifix or bracelet found it's way into your ham sandwich? :hmm: Doesn't sound like it has anything to do with anything other than hygiene to me...they aren't allowed to wear anything else, they aren't picking on soldiers.

True, except a rubber wristband could hardly fall off and he didn't work in the fresh food section.

Morrisons have changed their mind now.

Yeah that is fair enough, there are a lot of daft rules that make no sense that I can't be bothered with, it just seems this story was being twisted to suggest it had something to do with help for heroes which is obviously a hot topic at the minute. I would find it more annoying people using help for heroes to sell newspapers than for a bracelet being banned for food hygiene, even if the hygiene rule was daft.

Thats very true. Using any story to their own advantage. Hygiene rules have been there for years, and it has nothing to do with political views, or any of that rubbish - it is a hygiene rule. The guy served fresh food at a fresh food counter - he needs to abide by the regulations. If he was sat on a till, then do whatever. Another example of a story being twisted to suit the current climate.
