As with most films based on true story's, I end up on google reading how much is true,,, wich was the first thing I did this morning ....lol Seen the film a few years ago now when it first came out...probably quite and accurate portrayal of the facts...Braddock was a decent fighter and a good human being...in those days social welfare carried a certain stigma unlike today's society where the biggest percentage of claimants see it as a rightful entitlement...
