What's The Best Bedding To Use For A Jill To Have Her Kits In?

I have 2 jill ferrets who are due kits and don't know what would be the best bedding to use for them what do you lot think straw,woodchippings,shredded paper,old clothes??? Any other ideas??

shredded paper is best i think for hygeine no beastys in it etc like you get with straw /hay, old clothes are a no no with me as i would think kits would get lost in the folds etc

ill cut out a section of left over carpet and put in on the floor of sleeping part of the hutch and put in a small amount of dust extracted shavings or the hey in the pet shops,it shouldnt have any bugs in it and they seem to love it, make a proper nest out of the stuff.

i use the padding from a old scatter cushion or pillow just pull it apart and fluff it up

I used straw and woood shavings and now use a towel cut in 2, the towel is better as the kits are 3 weeks old and eyes open.
