Eireman96 9
I was just wondering what kind of numbers of white owls are left in ireland, are they rare? Are you meant to report sightings? If so where would you make such a report. Thanks

Eireman96 9
I hadnt seen one until the start of summer two years ago and i have seen at least 6 since, i drive machinery for the summer so do a lot of night work, also seen one out lamping rabbits had it on the lamp for a minute or so but have never seen one hunting, i cant say whats normal for them but i would have thought a hare wpuld be a bit big for an owl, then again no one should be suprised by the actions of a wild animal. I also have observed a lot of cestrols/hawks around this past year compared to previous years.
