Ty Hafan Terrier, Lurcher, Hound, Novelty & Gun Dog Scurry

Recommended Posts

NOT A BAD SHOW CONSIDERING THE DAMP WEATHER THERE WAS A VERY GOOD TURN OUT. THE ONLY THING I WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH WAS THE FACT THAT PEOPLE WHO WERE IN THE PUPPY CLASS WERE THEN ENTERING THEIR DOGS AND BITCHES INTO THE UNDER 23 AND OVER 23 CLASSES (ROUGH AND SMOOTH). IN THE BULL CLASS FOR BITCHES THERE WAS 3 ADULT BITCHES AND THE REST OF THEM WERE MADE UP OF THE PUPPY CLASS, ALSO THIS WAS THE SAME IN THE DOG BULL CLASS. IT WAS THE SAME JUDGE ALL THE WAY THROUGH, THEREFORE A PUP IS A PUP UP UNTIL 12 MONTHS, SO IT SUDDENLY DOESN'T BECOME AN ADULT, SO WHY WERE THEY ALLOWED TO ENTER THEIR PUPS INTO A NUMBER OF CLASSES??

I KNOW THESE SHOWS ARE JUST A LITTLE BIT OF FUN TO PASS THE SUMMER AWAY, BUT IF YOU ARE RUNNING A SHOW IT SHOULD BE MONITORED THAT PUPS STAY IN THE PUPPY CLASS AND SHOULD NOT BE ENTERED INTO ANY OTHER CLASS, AND WHEN THE JUDGE ASKS HOW OLD A DOG/BITCH IS AND THEY ARE UNDER 12 MONTHS THEY SHOULD BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE CLASS. I DON'T THINK IT IS FAIR ON OTHER PEOPLE WHEN THEY TRAVEL A FAIR DISTANCE TO THESE SHOWS. THEY WANT THEIR DOGS TO BE JUDGED FAIRLY.
