Whizz the chillies down in a food processor, its so much easier then using a knife and gets them to the right size.

Disvole the cornflour in cold water whisk to ensure no lumps, pour in and whisk to ensure no lumps. Go steady with the cornflour as it has to boil to thicken so be cautious. When thickened it should look like the above picture.

Where do you all grow your chillis? Ive grown chillis once before outside and they didn't do very well. Windowsill is out for me as I don't have a south facing window so im thinking Ill bodge a greenhouse or small polytunnel together. Are there any strains that will give me a good chance of success?

I do have some seeds here they are

cayenne long slim

cayenne golden

black hungarian

scotch bonnet

twilight

Anyone tried these?

I start mine off beginning of jan on a radiator (it works for me :D), first fill your pot with compost , wet it, add the seed, compost on top then I put cling-film on top...then as soon as I see owt sprouting off comes the cling-film and the little bugger roughs it out anywhere I can put it in the house. ive had some good results this way. some seeds take a lot longer than others so be prepared to wait.. :whistling:
