skycat 6,172 Posted February 25, 2013 Report Share Posted February 25, 2013 Not fecked at all: seen plenty of sliced tendons on hind feet, and resultant flat toes. Dog can lose a bit of speed, and you don't want to run a flat foot on hard or stony ground, but apart from that, have seen them continue to run with no problems. Keep the claws on the flat toes cut as short as possible: even taking them right off at the toe and cauterizing to reduce regrowth and keeping pressure off the toe. Good luck. 2 Quote Link to post
