Zeroing A Rifle.........on Permission?

Bit of advice needed, I'm just about to send off my FAC application, I'm going for a .17HMR and .223 on 1026 acres.

 

Now I'm obviously going to need to zero each rifle/scope in. Can this be done in a safe place on permission?

Yes, as long as the land is passed for the caliber.

For example against my .22rf , on my ticket is says 'Shall be used for VERMIN and GROUND GAME and for zeroing on ranges, or land, over which the holder has lawful authority to shoot'

I cant remember adding it before I think it may be the sort of thing that may come as standard or be accepted that it will be needed. You may as well write it down anyway though its not going to do you any harm

Yes it is standard, and it is also accepted that you need to practice as well, so don't worry about needing to practice at different distances/positions etc
