Back out and up the Fells this morning and although when we parked up the temp was -1C up on top it was like a summers day? Holy shit was it warm,I took the two pups again and we also took Swift and Fenn along with the two Patts Tank & Pip...nigh on as soon as we let the dogs loose after walking through the Farmyard two sneaky hares could be seen running through the sieves and the very next field another one was seen skulking across some rough ground and into some really thick sieves..we were way up on the Fells today,my two pups both got to feel how barbed wire feels lol...they will jump higher next time haha...had two and a half hours up on the Fells,it was very hazy down the Valleys and looking across to the other Fells yet where we were it was crystal clear?..my old knees are really giving me some jip now but fingers crossed be back up on the tops very soon..it was an excellent walk and somewhere I had never been before...one or two bits of steep hill seen me trailing behind by 40 or 50 yards but I got there in the end :-)
