SNAP SHOT 194
Both are very capable guns, the barrels are both made in the same factory, its just the quality of finish you are paying for that makes the price difference, think of it like skoda, and Vw, owned by the same company, But the vw will have a better finish, And yes i shoot a tikka, although its only the action i now own, as i made a custom gun from a 595 s/s action in .243 win. good luck with your decision. Hunter123456 0
Think I'm going to go for a tikka T3 laminated/ stainless Quote Link to post
themightybuck 9
If I were you I would head down to your local gun shop and ask to see them both (even if it's a different calibre you will get the feel of them) and see which one you prefer, you will find you like one over the other. They are both good accurate out of the box rifles. Which ever you choose you won't go wrong. Quote Link to post
Deker 3,450
Think I'm going to go for a tikka T3 laminated/ stainless Obviously the choice is your, but remember the metalwork is the same on whichever stainless model T3, if you want laminated then fine, but it is well over £100 more than the Hunter! Neither will shoot better than the other, you are paying for aesthetics! Quote Link to post
GEOFF.223 83
i would pick a tikka as sako have the occasional bad barrel very rare but i have never heard of tikka with a bad barrel. Quote Link to post
