Had an hour on the plots today dug first spuds ( not the best but sure they be tasty, pulled a few beets to culled a cross bread pigeon from my loft , while we was there I swapped some eggs for a turn

Garden update.

Tom's and mini Cucumber coming on great now. Might just get a small feed of runners next week.

This Purple Sprouting Broccoli not supposed to harvest until August. It's dry as hell no moister in the ground.

Them mini cumbers are ace mate  last year I had a nice crop until the plague of locust grandkids swarmed on em , no sungolds mate ?

Oh yea wifey loves the Sun Gold mate been picking them since mid June few pages back, the reds are always behind them. In the green house I have 3 Sun Gold, 1 Shirley F1 (red medium size) one Crimson Crush F1 supposed to be 100% blight resistant (red medium/large beefsteak) and one Mountain Magic another 100% blight resistant (red small). I can highly recommend both Crimson Crush F1 and Mountain Magic F1 can be grow outdoors, they no sign of early or late blight.

Update.

First feed of runners. Had them with sausages a mash with gravy. I get impatient waiting for them and you can see them coming, they were bloody handsome.
