Harcombe Book

Recommended Posts

I'm in the process of selling a part of my book collection.

I have a copy of harcombes book 'work them hard treat em like heroes' its signed by the author.

I want to make some room on my book shelf but not bothered if they dont sell as I enjoy collecting them. Dont know what price to put on this book so if anyone wants to bid me on it they can. Only ones I can find online are £45-50.

people peddling books is the reason the standard of working dog books have gone down

when i was a kid books were 700/800 pages long and gifted not sold

if i was struggling with a chapter i could phone a mate and he would come and help me finish it

now they are sold before they have been read thoroughly :tongue2: :tongue2:

lol, I do actually hate selling books. its something iv never done in 15 years of collecting...but I just dont have any more space, baby on the way, quiet time of year with work and half a dozen new books I want to buy. Just think if someone else can get some pleasure from it then I'll pass it on.....still want the best price I can get though.
