Right, Wellingtons...........

Recommended Posts

Need me a new pair.

Some fast and hard facts from a thread elsewhere, I don't need/want:

  • Steel toe caps.
  • Shit grips.
  • Cost over €100.
  • Walking/Work/Rigger boots of any type whatsoever.

I would like:

  • Warm.
  • Comfortable.
  • Durable.
  • Grippy.

Already tried & killed:

  • Muck boot Esk.
  • Dunlop Purofort +

I live in my wellies, farm in them, hunt in them, day & night.

Ideas please :)

Hiya John , long time no speak mate , hope all well .

I too am im the position of needing good wellies at a decent price .

Will be watching this for serious answers , as i dont want to spend £200 for wellies when there are probably ones as good much cheaper .

I think the Muck Boot Tay are a popular boot , and not too bad at about £60-£80 . but thats for me shooting and stuff , as for round the farm ? They may not last as long for you .

ATB Buster .

I have these and found them to be fairly good.

I said on a similar thread that i wasnt singing the praises of the neoprene but i will eat my words. today in the snow my feet were toasty

Very comfy and the soles seem ok.

Now as i have said before, i cant justify paying a fair whack for some feckin wellys.

If you keep your eyes peeled on the link you will find that they do good sales, have a lot of new returns/seconds for a discounted price.

I gave £85 for mine and got the wife some joules for £30 :icon_eek:

Is this a one off faulty pair or common?
