your land, give yourself permission to shoot and keep the pellet within your boundary, all ligit, also bear in mind that as non-native species if you catch one in a trap its illegal to release it

Ive shot no end in my back garden. One thing id say tho, is be wary of your neighbours as some neighbours get a bit twitchy if they see you with an air rifle and may phone up the old bill saying theres a terrorist with a sniper rifle or something.

Just curious, is the grey squirrel population spread all over the island? Scotland, Ireland?

hi there.we have no greys up here...... YET...... there are on the way but as it stand we have none and the reds are doing fairly well.cheers P

 

Keep it that way! Squirrels are responible for much conservation damage - like the loss of the Purple Emperor butterfly because they have a great liking for the pupae.
