Ray Mears 272 Posted January 7, 2013 Report Share Posted January 7, 2013 they will do multiple jobs mate not just one ot the other. if you was doing more ferreting than lamping i would be looking at a beddy x whippet as they get to there top end quicker and are spot on for fast and furious ferreting. but if you want a dog that capable of abit more than rabbits then the beddy x grey would be a good option and would still be spot on for rabbits and fox (if in NI) if enterted correctly 1 Quote Link to post

Country Joe 1,411 Posted January 7, 2013 Report Share Posted January 7, 2013 For ferreting a marking dog is high on my list, I have worked both Beddy X greyhound, Whippet X Beddy. not saying the Beddy X Greyhound cant use his nose, they can. But I found the Whippet X Bedlington was the best marking dog. Quote Link to post
