Country Joe 1,411
A few years ago, I was giving a very small Poly Jill, small, so small you would now class it as a micro. The next day, i had a ferreting trip, so decided to take the new Jill along. It worked, but when bolting a rabbit, would flee out the bury at such a speed, and me chasing it trying to catch it, it did this at every bury, at one point must have chased it over 200 yds, it was the fastest, ferret I have seen, the sweat was lashing from me. She was really easy to handle no nipping, so when i got back, and put her in the hutch, i kept her in there for a month, handling her daily. The next time out, she was fine, had calmed down, no running from the bury. And turned out a nice steady worker. Quote Link to post

I am chuckling to myself here, as can picture you chasing a micro ferret across the field. Quote Link to post
